HEATING MODE: When running in heating mode, the heat pump circulates warm refrigerant through the air coil to heat your condo. It pushes warm air into your living space while extracting heat energy from the water moving through the coil — boosted by heat produced by the compressor. (See Figure 1 Above.)
COOLING MODE: When running in cooling mode, the heat pump circulates cold refrigerant through the air coil to cool your condo. It pushes cool air into your living space while pulling unwanted heat from the room and moving it into the water flowing through the water coil. (See Figure 2 Below.)
